Acclaimed musician Arnie Tanimoto performs at St. Stephen's
First prize-winner at the 7th International Bach-Abel Viola da Gamba Competition, Arnie Tanimoto, will present works by two of the most beloved viola da gamba virtuosi of the turn of the 18th century. Marin Marais and Johann Schenck published highly influential collections of viol music imparted with their unique voices on the instrument, as well as a sensitivity to stylistic influences from Italy, England, and France. Please join Arnie as he celebrates his success with Lucine Musaelian, viola da gamba; Parker Ramsay, baroque harp; and John Walthausen, harpsichord.
